Page 4 completed

I finished page 4 yesterday so i thought i would share it with you all.

to recap i am stitching it 1x1 on 35 ct hdf undyed linen using the sue -purple range of silks including some varigates from HDF

here is my third week.. i decided to wait til page 4 to finish the motif as i would have had to rethread the needle to go any further and i have Serenity Sampler also being stitched atm so i was strong and stopped!

this is now known as the Purple-icious spot sampler and i love it!

I am hoping we will see some more wips soon!!

I'm really enjoying working on this piece! Here's this week's progress.  Worked with HDF (I don't think we have a WIP in anything else on this blog) on Cream Newcastle Linen.

Page Three Done

Hello all..... just wanted to check in to let you know that I finished stitching page three today..... here's a picture of my progress so far:

Finished Page 2

Here is a picture of the first 2 pages of this wonderful new mystery. I am stitching this one over one on 28 count, white evenweave.

I am using Vikki Clayton Hand-Dyed Fibers:

Acts of Violets and the three colors that make it up: Lilac Mist (2143)Nosegay (2109)Sue-Purple-Ous.

The colors aren't true in the picture. I guess my camera can't cope with hand dyed fibers. Hopefully I can get better colors after the next page.

It is so much fun to do these SALs and see the project grow, week by week.

I finished Week 2 this morning, I love how it looks.

to re cap i am using the hdf 35 ct undyed linen with the full sue purple range of silks from hdf as well, including a LE varigate which is what i have used for the new big motif on page 2
